I'm 30 and just ordered my first fragrance sampler. I have no idea where to start, so getting my hands on a handful of scents should give me an idea. All I know is that I like fresh smells, like being fresh out of the shower or opening the window for the first time in the spring. When I think perfume or cologne, I just think of chemical irritants, because that's what I've been exposed to. I'm choosing to try out natural and ethical fragrances first. I wish to find something very pleasing and soothing. 😌

Long hair is awesome. I'm a guy and don't mind the maintenance. I have 2b type hair and usually take about 10 minutes in the bathroom during styling and product application. It's definitely time and money consuming, but I like it!

When I started getting serious about perfumes in 2022 I went the opposite direction of what the School of Scent guy is saying to do, I bought expensive. Two of my first perfumes were Tom Ford Noir De Noir and Louboutin's Loubicharme. I don't want people to sniff me, I just wanted my nose to know what expensive smells like, that way I hope I'll learn how to sniff out good perfumes from bad. It's been over two years and I'm still not sure if I have a good nose or not. I got some complaints when I wore Noir De Noir, I guess that one is a bit too much for some people. I really liked it. I recently got Margiela's Replica From the Garden which I'm super happy with.

What I want from clothes is good quality. The fabric has to be comfortable and durable, seams that don't easily rip, the clothing item has to fit my body and I have to like the style. If the clothing item lack one of these qualities it will end up in the back of my closet or forever stuck on my hanger until I realise I should sell it or give it away. I have a Rick Owens top that I really like the style of, but I never reach for it because the neckline is pushing at my throat strangling me making it uncomfortable. It's an opposite issue with a Gaultier cardigan I have, it fits, is comfy and warm for the winter, but I feel cardigans look odd on me and the tattoo design just clashes with my face. The social value of these items are nothing to me if I feel uncomfortable or awkward.

My hair was so god damn dry, no matter what shampoo i used, or how long i went without washing my hair. But co-washing fixed everything for me, no more dryness, no more falling out.
